Marker tips

The durability of a Marker tip depends on your individual writing technique and is affected by both the amount of pressure you apply when taking notes and how often you use your reMarkable tablet. Our best estimate for the average person using their reMarkable Paper Pro daily is anywhere between two and four months.

The Marker tip wears down slowly over time and you'll still be able to write and use it right up until it can no longer connect with the display. However, the tip will get blunter and may feel less comfortable to use before this happens. As with any precision instrument, from a chef's knife to a carpenter's chisel, you'll get the best from your Marker if you keep it sharp.

Replacing a tip takes just a few seconds. Simply remove the old tip using your fingers and apply a new one to the Marker straight from the box. You can see a short demonstration video of this here.
