Driven by destiny
Perhaps luck had little to do with Charles and Enzo crossing paths again. Yet years after merely exchanging waves in school hallways, an unlikely encounter set wheels in motion. From a shared admiration of aesthetic beauty — and motorcycles — a new company, Panache Customs, was born. With a custom motorbike workshop set up in Lyon, France, it appeared that adventures were on the horizon. There was just one thing missing.
All work, no paper
“Sometimes, simplicity is the most beautiful thing. Our main goal is to be thorough in everything we do. We take time to do things right, the way we want them to be,” they emphasize. “If we have to start over 20 times, we start over 20 times.”
With such a meticulous approach and the potential for countless piles of paper notes and design sketches, how could they uphold their minimalistic approach? “This is where reMarkable makes everything simpler. We keep all the advantages of our old tools, with the practicality and modernity of our new ones,” they tell us.
So with one stroke of a pen, the craftsmen turned their workshop into a completely paperless space. “It allowed us to finally say goodbye to paper. All our to-do lists are on it now—not to mention PDFs—and of course that content is available on our phones, which has saved us on several occasions.” Their creative process was reinvented.

Now, sketchbooks, user manuals, to-do lists, and technical drawings are all stored digitally on their tablets. “The way we work has been positively impacted by this new tool. Everything is centralized and accessible via our phones, which means anything is downloadable at any time,” they explain.
“We spend less time looking for a drawing sheet misplaced in a notebook, or lost somewhere in the workshop. Everything is clearer.”
Sounds like paper trails left in the dust to us.
