The data processing agreement (DPA) is incorporated by reference into our terms and conditions for Connect for Business. By agreeing to the terms and conditions, you also sign the agreement.
If we receive a data subject request for data we process under the terms of the data processing agreement (DPA), we will encourage the subject to contact the customer and forward the request to the customer as soon as possible. We won’t take any further action without the customer’s instruction.
We rely on subprocessors to offer Connect for Business. For example, we use Google to host your content, and Mailgun to email you when you need to reset your password. You can see a complete and updated list of subprocessors here under “Schedule 2.”
If we plan to introduce a new subprocessor that will process customers’ personal data under the data processing agreement (DPA), we’ll email our Connect for Business customers first. Customers then have the opportunity to object to the engagement of the new subprocessor.
We have robust policies and processes in place to make sure data breaches are promptly identified, managed, and mitigated. In the case of a data breach that affects customers’ personal data, we’ll notify affected customers as soon as we become aware and without undue delay.
We won’t share customer data unless required by law, and we have a robust process in place to make sure that all government and law enforcement requests are appropriately evaluated. If we receive a legally binding request, we’ll either ask the third party to request personal data directly from the customer or forward the request to the customer (as long as it’s legally permissible). After a contract expires or is terminated, we’ll delete the customer’s personal data covered by the data processing agreement (DPA) within 90 days.
