Can I use third-party charging cables?

Yes, third-party USB cables are compatible with your reMarkable.

Should I get the USB-A or USB-C cable?

This depends on how you plan to use the cable. To connect your reMarkable to a computer or plug with a USB-A socket, you’ll need a USB-A cable. To connect your reMarkable to a computer or plug with a USB-C socket, you’ll need a USB-C cable. You’ll typically find USB-C sockets on newer devices.

Can I use this cable to transfer data?

Yes, you can. Using a USB cable is a convenient way to transfer files if you don’t have Wi-Fi access, or as an alternative to our apps.
