We often think of the path to success as something linear, moving from point A, to point B, to point C, in that order. But real life is not always a straight line, she says. It’s complex. And following a set pre-determined paths can easily lead to disappointment, stress, and eventually burnout.
So why not think like a scientist instead? Le Cunff suggests we should consider running “tiny experiments”, where we allow ourselves to test and explore new habits and ideas. Where the goal is not a specific result, but rather learning itself.
